I may have discovered that the cheap way to avoid fixing one's digicam is to use one's ancient videocamera to record stuff, then take screencaps....

I may have taken a lot of screencaps...

Is Mom a Burmese? She looks a lot like a Burmese I had once.

Mom's a stray (as is Dad) -- but I don't think she's Burmese, because she has yellow-green eyes, not copper. She might be part, though, from her headshape.

I never notice eye color, but I noticed her headshape right off.

She might be a pet-quality Burmese. Since the US version came from a mix of Siamese and Burmese, I suppose odd eye colors pop up once in a while.

yeah, and uhm...that's my bed. Once the kitten started walking, Ty apparently decided I didn't need it anymore and could sleep on the floor. Which I am. *sigh* I am SUCH a pushover nana!

I know how to focus the videocamera. It just took a bit of futzing to figure out that the power zoom actually can get in closer if you move far away from the subject. That's why the ending shots are better than the beginning!
