Harry Potter and the ridiculously over-hyped sequel...
Neener neener neener... I don't ca-are...

I expect I'll read it, eventually.

I wouldn't know. I'm above the law. I live on the edge. You can't stop me. It's Chinatown!

Nobody's above the law in my town, mister.

Also I don't live in your town.

Percy laid still on the bed, arse still stinging from the blows. His cock was hard, still -- he hadn't been allowed to come yet.

Above him, Livi laughed. "That's one more, if you tell me vampires are real."

Percy stifled his smile. Even if they hadn't been, he would have said yes.

See! We can have our own book!

What am I saying?

*Kills bunny about magic -- particularly potterverse vamps -- invading the Chamber, and everyone there being as cool about it as his parents were with him being gay/a sub.*

I've read the books, but... they're just books, ya know? Nice, good slash fodder, but I'm not on tenterhooks waiting to see what happens.

Heeee! I suspect the only way I'm going to read it is if the rugrats want it read to them.

Harry who?

Harry Trotter, I think? He's some sort of lizard.

They're not the greatest books I've ever read, but I do like them. I actually like them more each book - as both the character's get older and Rowling's writing skills grow/strengthen. IMO, each book is better than the last.

And I was perfectly willing to wait to read this book - no anticipation or anxiety at all. But then I got unexpectedly hit by a spoiler this morning and all of a sudden I needed to know "now" what really happens.

Have now calmed down and am once again willing to wait - but only if I have too. ;)

Actually, the books reminded me eerily of the various fanfics I was writing or co-writing at the time. Not in terms of suggesting the writing quality was equal to hers -- but that as the series went on, they kept getting longer and more complex and dense... and HP was doing exactly the same thing. It was creeeeeepy!

Muah-ha!

I have (or share with maeyan) all the books through 4. I'm just not foaming at the mouth waiting for 5. (Plus maeyan has already ordered it, snerk.)
