*lovingly moiderizes whoever on my friends list made the entries box so wide that now my carefully-designed-for-800x600-res-screen layout is *still* too wide for my 800x600 screen*

No, I'm not pointing any fingers because I can't actually figure out what's causing it. Possibly something *I've* done is making it go crazy.

Have I mentioned lately how much I hate the inconvenient bits of Component, despite its sexy organizational design?

P.S. GIP. Me and my mommy, in. Um. 1977?

That happened to me this morning, but I discovered that it was the APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day)--some guy walking on the moon.

I can't figure out what it might be on my list -- the widest thing I can see is new icons at iconsensual, and those aren't tabled or anything, so they should be wrapping if the row is too wide for the default entry component. Biggest thing after that is _green_'s "1000th post" graphic, and I *know* that's not wide enough to mess with my layout.

*is puzzled*

I think LJ is out to just irritate the hell out of everyone. I've done my best to counteract it by making my LJ pink. It's such a Larry Flynt color... :)

Component is so pretty, but so stupid. Sometimes my friends page will do just what you've described, and there is no reason. It just decided you needed a widescreen format for the day and disregards the fact that you don't have a widescreen monitor.

I think it *was* something on the f-list this time, but yeah. It's a very very pretty style, but the insanity of customizing it and making it work the way you want it to is... insane. As insanity often is.
