*freaks out*

Also, I have a new digital camera. 2.1 megapixels, nice zoom, 16mb onboard memory, plug-n-play with XP to the point that I can plug in the usb cord and *poof* - my pc thinks I have a new drive. Got the camera (Polaroid Ion230) and a 128mB memory card at Radio Shack for about 145$ total, as the 128mB cards were 25% off with every digital camera purchase.

Whee! New toy (and this means I won't be stuck with the point-and-click I brought to ConneXions the last 2 years running, or repairing my SLR, whose rewinding spool is broken) for happy bargain prices!

Also, I have elf vodka.

I never even though about taking a camera. *runs away to try and see if she can borrow one from someone*

I am soooooooooo excited.

Also, what is Elf Vodka? I have seen a couple references to it, and as I love elves *and* vodka, I must know. *grins*

Elf vodka is vanilla vodka. Less fascinating than it sounds, unfortunately. ;-)

Damn it. I was hoping for a tale.

How on earth did it acquire that name?

(I do love Vanilla vodka though. Mmmmmm. Especially with Root Beer or Ginger Ale.)

I got the answer for this one.

At the New Year's Eve parties that captainnancy throws, he keeps a special store of vanilla vodka in the freezer. The vanilla vodka was only given to either his fellow elves in D&D (such as buffybot) or those who were elf kind (such as me).

When wesleysgirl provided vanilla vodka at Buffycon last year, buffybot, captainnancy, and I immediately pounced on it, squealing "Elf vodka!!!!" and thus the name has spread. =)

I knew it was a Buffybot thing. ;-)

mmm elf vodka

baaahaaaa!! That is awesome. I have my own stash of vanilla vodka in the freezer and I think that I am going to have to adopt the new name.
