Not dead in ditch stop news at eleven stop
Well, in my world it's eleven. (ish). All you freaky Eastern Daylight people are already in bed because it's 12 where you are.

I on the other hand am here. Which is home. Also, tired.

Also, now in music-love with Talis Kimberly.

Welcome back. Go to bed.

I thoroughly second the plug for Talis. I've known her for (counts on fingers) about fifteen years now and she never stops doing different stuff.

Snert. I did go to bed. Eventually.

I'm grooving on Talis, and wishing more of her songs were in recorded format.

(On the other hand, the most maddening thing about her Archetype Cafe album is it's giving me multiple songvid bunnies - - which take on a whole new dimension of questionability when the musical artist is a small-studio/touring filksinger who has legitimate reasons to be unhappy about fans using her material for re-constructiony things like songvids.)

You can get a copy of 'Near Earth' if you hit the FilkArchive and register.

There's a bonus track on 'About Damn Time', the short album she released along with 'Archetype Cafe' -- it's called 'Crimson Bride', and it's quite a lot of fun.

She still has a few tapes out, and appears on multiple convention recordings.

Ah, wonderful - I hadn't known about the filkarchive. There's not only Near Earth, but a filk (sort of) of Archetype Cafe, from the men's POV. Thanks for pointing it out!
