1. No Pacers basketball game tonight to pre-empt Angel series finale. Bodes well for WB4 staffers who will not be target of bloody rampage through studio.

2. Lasagna, Ben & Jerry's Half-Baked, and SeaBreezes made with elf vodka.

3. Am not weepy. Yet. But know am set for it, as teared up over Wesley!Angst in latest chapter of Protocol.

4. *clings to fandom like howler monkey*

5. Work somewhat less obnoxious today, though still could exist happily without constant heart attacks when co-workers suddenly appear behind me in new back-turned-to-the-doorway cube, or scuff loudly past it. *mutedspleen*

6. *clings to fandom like howler monkey*

Not sure I'll sleep. Although, work tomorrow, so possibly a good idea at some point.

Okay! I have a solution for the cube-thing. I worked summers with a lovely boss who nonetheless was quite fond of sneaking up on all of us. Then someone found small versions of round rear-view mirrors (maybe for bikes or motorcycles, though I think they may have them other places as well) and we all put them on our monitors. Sneaking defeated and jumpiness combatted.

Hee! Don't think I could get away with it here, but it's a thought. Or if I just propped one on the monitor-stand...

You need to get a window mirror for your computer. My comp wasn't angled properly, so it didn't work for me, but I bet you could see the entire office from the corner of your eye based on how the pictures looked. It works for 2 other people in my office who hate to be surprised.

*clings some more - for the fun ;-) *

They're eventually suppsed to build a wall outside my cube (to wall off the people who ate into our space, /bitter) which should cut down the foot traffic and make approaching people less noticeable so I don't get startled. PLus allegedly they can move my overhead cabinets to the opposite wall so I can turn my computer around and be... basically facing the opening more. And have elbow-support for my mouse-arm. All of this I will believe when I see. ;-)

They have, yes. I was grateful for that, though less grateful for their sporadically-updated "Where's my WB" page!

Why *howler monkey*, specifically?

Why not, say "clings to fandom like chicken on a perch"? Heh heh.

Becausebaby howler monkeys wrap both arms and legs around their mommies as they get carried through the forest. And, er, howl.

Also, because I stole it from TBQ.
