Thing one: Hi Amy, I mailed your Spike puppet on Friday. You should have him by Tuesday. If you go to to track and confirm and enter this number [number], you can track his journey to your home. I hope you like him, let me know if there are any problems or questions. Thanks,Karenne

Thing two: CDs! I've not yet checked all of them to see if they work, but I've at least checked all of the several formats and determined that I can read/clip from them all. bouncebouncebouncebouncebounce at sockkpuppett!

Thing three: There is no thing three. No, I lie. Thing three: this is the quilt that zortified made for me. And this is the back. I've had the quilt for a while now, but hadn't posted pictures in my LJ before.

Thing four: Watched Saved twice this week. Still of the disturbing opinion that MacCauley Culkin is hot in this movie. (wesleysgirl: "Did you read the rumors about him being romantically linked with another man?" mpoetess: "Yes. And that in every no way makes him even hotter." wesleysgirl: "Right there with you.") Also, if you have/rented the dvd and did not watch the bloopers? You are a deprived slasher.

Thing five: Also watched The Butterfly Effect. Who knew Ashton Kutcher could act dramatically? Spent far too long discussing the cartoon physics of the main gimmick with maeyan afterwards. Her conclusion: this would have made a better novel than movie. And she'd like to read the father's story. My conclusion: CallumKeithRenniesocutevenwhenhomicidalOMG.

Thing six: Still allergic to dairy.

ETA: Thing seven: Ha! There was Director's Cut of Butterfly Effect, according to imdb. With an ending that would make me want to smack people. Which we didn't see because we had the VHS, since all the DVDs were checked out. And since we didn't see it, it does not exist.

Have you seen Party Monster?

Nope. I'm not sure I could, as I think the subject matter would depress me too much. Much like Heavenly Creatures, which I've seen parts of but couldn't watch it all the way through. I'm kind of allergic to the doomed doomed doomed thing that true-crime stuff has when it focuses on the murderer as a main character.

Right you are. I haven't seen the director's cut yet but having heard about the details I'm of the opinion I'm better off.

I'm not actually suggesting they don't work, or aren't artistically better, or anything like that -- just that I prefer my happy little world where the ending I thought happened, happened.

Dude, Mac was totally smokin' in that movie. Nothing odd about it. Looking back on him as a kid now, it's not hard to see...look at that mouth! He always had the prettiest lips.

I was always a bit afraid of his lips before -- he seems to have grown into them now, though.

I watched the directors cut of the butterfly effect the other night, and I didn't even think about there being a different ending than that. when i get back I'll have to watch the other ending. I didn't know there was another ending! so ... maybe the new ending will be happier? because that movie freaked me out. I had to sleep in the baby's bed so I didn't have nightmares! although it was the little homicidal animal cruelty boy that made me the most freaked out.

love you! *hugs you tightly*

*nod* The theatrical ending is happier. I know what the DC ending is, I just maintain that since I haven't seen it, I don't have to acknowledge its existence. ;-)
