La la la la la Guess what came in the mail today?
Despite the scurrilous rumours perpetrated by one "thebratqueen" (if indeed that's her REAL name...) I do NOT engage in puppetry of LIES!

You'll want to click the first pic, then use the 'next' link to view the rest, as the captions on the individual pics are longer than and different from the brief titles in the index.

Also in the mail came a box of classic songvid tapes from zortified! I so picked the best day to get sick...

Hee. That's not my version; it's Douglas Adams'. Spike's reading So Long And Thanks For All The Fish out loud.

Ooooh. That's funny. So, he makes fun of *the sacred* like Tom Robbins. I read so many many science fiction/fantasy authors but *hangs head in shame* I've never read a single Douglas Adams. I've read Pratchett, Pohl, and Anderson, and LeGuin(sp) but not Adams.

Adams is pretty irreverent, yup. And more than a little on crack. One of his secondary characters is, for instance, a rain god. Only he doesn't know it; he just thinks that he's cursed to be constantly followed by rain everwhere he goes. He doesn't realize the rain loves him...

Did you know the later books have now been adapted for radio and are now being broadcast with most of the original cast?
You can find them on the BBC website, Radio 4.
