*watches Lindsey and Melanie try to have sex in cheap motel*

Do none of these women wear bras?

I mean, Mel could easily get away with it, but Linds is well into curvy-enough-to-be-in-pain-without-some-support status, surely?

Not that I'm complaining.

I've never understood the idea that being braless is somehow painful. Other than during hormonally, er, rich times, I've never found that to be true.

I guess it's like men going commando style and a question of becoming accustomed.

I think Magpie's right about it being a question of being accustomed to it. I never would have dreamed of going braless until I spent two years with a nursing child and discovered how much simpler it was (at home) to not bother with a bra. Even now at home I generally don't wear one. I do wear one for going out, in part because I'm rather, er, nipply - I find that having strangers stare at my chest makes me more uncomfortable than being braless.

On the other hand, running up and down stairs can be rather bouncy...

Yeah, I don't have any physical problems with not wearing a bra myself at home -- it was more the going out braless as Lindsey is in this scene that threw me. Especially given how otherwise-conservatively she was dressed.

I'm on the small cup size side myself, so if it weren't for appearances, I wouldn't have a problem with it either. But I've been told by people more well-endowed than I that they've personally had problems with either no support, or not good enough support.

Could be a case by case basis, I suppose. Or could be the difference between hanging about the house (when I'm usually braless myself) and being out about town, which usually requires more and faster walking. (And which Mel and Linds were in the scene in question, which is what had me going "Lindsey actually leaves the house without a bra?")

I haven't worn a bra for years, and I'm a D cup, and this includes those rare times I actually leave the house. Agreed, I don't run braless because I can't actually run anymore. I stopped wearing them as they cause excruciating cramps for me. I've since discovered that this is a side effect of one of my conditions -- constrictive clothing is not of the good for me.

Going braless is almost certainly bad for boob shape, but I'm long past such concerns. I can't see that bras can be all that necessary otherwise, unless doing sport, as it isn't as if our cave-woman ancestors wore them, Ursula Andress aside. ;)

Well, I'm a bit more busty than Lindsey, but I don't see how she can be comfortable going braless. I bet when the actress changes to go home, she totally puts a bra on. I'm sure it's just to titillate us (no pun intended). ;)

Hee.

And I think I've seen her in clothes where she fairly obviously has to be wearing a bra under them -- it's just when she takes them off for a sex scene, or at least a sexy scene, that she alway seems to be braless. Which in the house wouldn't seem abnormal, but in this particular scene where they went to a cheap motel to rev up their sex life, Lindsey's dressed all nice and conservative (partly I'm sure to accentuate how skeezy they think the motel is), and I was a little "buh?" when the shucking down commenced.
