I have never before wanted the Doctor to have a romantic entanglement. But in the second episode, oh, I really did.

Heh - with Rose, or with Jade, though?

*nod* I liked Jade. I didn't want to at first because she seemed intrusive, but she also had what seemed like a genuine respect (for the Doctor, Earth, etc.) which put her back in my good graces. Also hott.

Or the Master. I'll be really depressed if the Master is actually for sure dead dead deadski.

I suppose if it was a war with another culture with time technology, they could wipe out all the Time Lords whenever they were -- but it would sure take a hell of a lot of cleanup to deal with all of the potential paradoxes.

I liked Jade too.

She was acting kinda suspicious for a bit though. And she definitely got hot at the end! (ha! Get it?) But I found it odd that e dragged her along with him to the final rescue scenes in the coolant system. it just seemed to lack reason. *shrugs*

There are too many Time Lords floating around for me to believe that they all got the axe... of course I am trying to picture the Doctor actually in a war, and that's a stretch for me, too. But then, I gave up on the books after the first arc or two- maybe it was there?

*hurts you with pliers marshmallows*

I think he dragged her along because he wanted someone competent to help him out, and found it likely Rose would panic, and/or was nowhere as familiar with the technology level.

Er. Plus, Rose stuck in room with sabotaged lock at the time, come to think of it.

Okay. Hee.
