As Promised, Gayest. Card. Ever.
Discovered in the snack shop at work, hi-res photos courtesy mr_sarabi. Yes, I'm going back to see if there are any more copies of it, because I must have one to keep and more to send to people.

Yes, it's clearly meant to be a child's card, but... but... but...

The Cover

For the full effect here you have to know that the text on the front and inside is gilt, which doesn't quite reveal itself in the photo-lighting.

The Inside

Yes, it's a pop-up. With a large baseball bat centrally displayed, because we needed more repressed uber-masculine imagery.

Or as it was obviously meant to appear when signed...

I have never seen anything quite like this before. I can't even--dude--WTF is up with the Nike product placement?!! I think Nike might have paid too much for the ad space on Hallmark's "Bobby and Steve" line of greeting cards.

It's not even "A Tiny Little Really Really Gay Division Of Hallmark." The only publisher's mark is "Pop-Up - made in Taiwan."

I think they're dry-humping on the front cover, there. Heh.

*snorts*
It doesn't surprise me that it was made in the far east - they seem to produce a lot of gay-looking stuff, apparently oblivious to how it might be interpreted.
I think its sweet!

It is! And obviously heartfelt.

It would be cruel and wrong not to share the gay at every opportunity.

Maybe it'll start a new trend in really really gay greeting cards.

I love not only its existence, but the fact that I found it at *work*. In the "you're totally desperate for a card, you forgetful schmuck" rack!

Teh Clueless is not unique to Asia; my cousin's wife posed her four and eight year-old sons shirtless, in tight jeans and cowboy boots, for their Christmas card last year.

Julia, I'd scan it but I think it would ping the kiddy-porn sensors to post it online.

I've actually been pretty cheered by the number of non-online people who, when shown that card, agree that it's the Gayest Card Ever, because for the most part I *expect* Teh Clueless from the people around me.

Possibly certain episodes of Are You Being Served wherein Mr. Humphries plays tennis might actually take that title, but judges will accept a tie vote.
