I have plane tickets! For Baltimore. This means I'm really, actually, going to ConneXions. (Yes, I *was* in denial -- why do you ask?)

Also, finished links page for Pointy Stakes. Never want to look at little evil 100x35 buttons again. Until next time. 18 large story archives. 38 author archives. (Counting co-owned sites.) 6 art galleries, 12 photo-rich sites, and 6 just for your amusement places.

If you're a Buffy slash fan and you're still bored after going through all those little frigging buttons, you've got more free time than I do, and I want your job!

Hey,

I'm in Baltimore, what *is* Connexions...I'm guessing something slashy, given the website I found...but...

is it too late to register to go..I mean, I live here. It's not like I need a place to stay...but it'd be cool to see some of you...plus...I've never been to a convention..ever

And the Convention Xander/Spike Multiverse Fic got me a bit interested.

I don't think it's too late to register. It's the 5th through the 7th, at the Baltimore Travel Plaza... er, yadda yadda, see website for exact details -- you'd probably be more familiar with the directions than I am.

It's 50$ for the full weekend membership, and as far as I know, it's still open; the website doesn't say otherwise, though I haven't checked the mailing list for a few days.

Addendum -- after checking list -- there are no at the door sales , so you need to contact Martha (AprilValen@aol.com) by April 1st, if you want to register last-minute.

(And I still need to verify that *my* name is on the list, tohugh I mailed my app and check weeks ago.)

well it's official, I'm going..(got an email from Martha last night)

my best friend can't make it though. Work till 5:30 Friday..I have to work till 5pm Friday too. But she has classes till 4pm Saturday...I didn't think it was fair for her to spend the money and not get all the hours...

So, if you see someone wandering around looking all lost & shy...it'll be me.

Oh,, you and me both, honey. I've never been to a fan-only convention before, or a slash convention. I've only been to big media conventions where the main occupation is standing in line to get an actor's autograph or photograph.

I'll be the one with the newly re-dyed red hair, hanging out with Wolfling and trying not to look pathetically grateful to be around someone who's more familiar with the whole deal than I am!
