Two words, two syllables each.
External GIP, internal GIP. I may go icon-happy. You never know.

External: New S/X icon. Old S/X pic.

And within lies my new default icon, after tonight's broadcast. Which I won't GIP now because maybe someone has been cavedwelling, and doesn't know it happens.

Tara. Leather.

Syllables: Ta-ra. Lea-ther.

Happyhappy. Well, as happy as a spoiler whore can be.

I'll make you one with no MP on it, if you like. Or a Ro, since there's probably not room for Iroshi

Hehehe...I was too busy staring at the yummyness to notice there were letters on it. Letter-free, please. I don't need my name on my icons. And thanks!!

Right there with you on this one, Sarah. And no, not really. That is, they gave lipservice to Tara being *aware* of those issues and that they should be dealt with before there's ever going to be trust between them, but she pushes it aside.

Granted, she doesn't say that Willow has regained her trust, or that she's all proud of Willow for overcoming her addiction, and none of the rest of it matters now.

What happens is (highlight for last-night's US broadcast spoilers if you're reading in LJ)

They have what amounts to a nervous, giggly coffee date, which is a bit annoying in that there's no actual discussion of their relationship or what needs to be done before they can be together as more than guarded friends -- it's all about catching Tara up on everything that happened while she was gone, and is interrupted by Anya stopping by and trying to get them to wish vengeance on Xander for her.

Then later, Willow is alone, studying, and Tara shows up at her bedroom door. Looking all nervous and like maybe something's wrong. Willow's concerned, asks what it is. Tara starts in on saying you can't just jump back into a relationship like that, it's harder, you can't have coffee and then everything's perfect, there are trust issues, they don't even tknow if they're the same people anymore, or if they want the same things, etc. It's a long hard process.

And Willow is nodding, though whether it's really "Yes I agree" or "Yes, I'll say anything you want as long as it means I'll eventually get you back" I'm not sure. But she's agreeing with the various points, at least verbally. Yes, sure, of course, I understand, you're right.

Then Tara says, "And can we just skip all that? And can you just be kissing me right now?"

And there is kissage, and the episode ends.

Very possibly not the healthiest choice in the world for her -- though it does seem to be about *Tara* being the one who wants to skip the hard work and avoid the conflict, in this scene.

Then again, she doesn't exactly have long to enjoy the moment, so we're never going to *see* what the repercussions on their relationship would have been.

Well... if Tara weren't so glaring a so-sorry-not-interested-but-thank-you-for-asking dyke...

See, but you're being snarky. ;-)

Giles/Anya, the world needs.

Just, you know, not me, because I have so little interest in hetfic that it boggles the mind. I'd love it onscreen, though.

Hmmm. Perhaps if they invited Olivia in for a foursome... Er, if olivis could be convinced to believe that the scary shit is out there anyway, and staying away from Giles isn't going to make it not be there...

/me slaps self for thinking deeply about this...
